Based in the heart of Geauga County, SMYLiES is a family-owned company that established its roots in 2015.
We provide quality cleaning and sanitation to commercial offices, corporate campuses, banking/financial institutions, manufacturing facilities, educational facilities and more.
We are currently seeking a HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATORfor a part-time, hybrid remote role.
The right candidate must be highly motivated, hard-working, trustworthy, detail oriented, and results driven.
This person will be a strong addition to our already outstanding team.
What you'll do:
Administer 401(k)/simple savings investment program, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Process required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.
Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions including BWC and unemployment claims.
Execute recruitment and interview process.
Track status of candidates and respond with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.
Schedule meetings and interviews for hiring managers.
Oversee and coordinate new employee onboarding.
Complete/verify documentation and maintain I-9 files.
Initiate new-employee background checks and pre-employment drug screens.
Assist with the preparation of performance review process.
Assist with processing of terminations.
Support managers through employee relations issues.
Collaborate with leadership to continually improve employee engagement and morale.
Promote and contribute to a working atmosphere across all divisions that results in maintaining strong cooperation, efficiency, and teamwork.
What you'll need:
Five plus years of professional experience within Human Resources.
Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or similar, preferred but not required.
Strong working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Advanced time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines/prioritize tasks.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software.
Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
High reliability, accountability, and integrity.
Hard work ethic with the desire to continuously improve.
