CNC Lathe Machinist
Our growing organization is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist.
The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of relevant experience.
Medical and/or Aviation Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.
Program, setup and operate CNC lathes Ability to make on demand machine adjustments to coding to ensure fabrication requirements are met Knowledgeable in metal identification and tooling requirements for a manufacturing environment for both mill and lathe Read and use blueprints, engineered drawings, and illustrated parts catalogs Assist other technicians in performance of maintenance and/or repairs as appropriate Use and operate safely all appropriate hand tools and other machinery associated with the machine shop Must be able to execute to ensure their projects are complete.
Ensure accountability by owning the projects and holding everyone, including him/herself, accountable.
Always take ownership of work area and keep organized Work very closely with engineering and management staff Additional related duties as requested by management High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Attended post High-School Training as a Machinist Associate Degree Preferred 3
Years of full time CNC lathe experience with a strong background in holding a tight tolerance Experience with maintaining a tight production schedule PI226509403 Recommended Skills Aviation Blueprinting Machinery Maintenance Manufacturing Metal Lathes Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
